Middle Dune was born out of owner and designer Sylvia's constant search for the perfect sketchbook. As a writer, artist, list maker, and doodler, the right binding or paper can make all the difference, so eventually she figured- why not just make her own? We hope you enjoy the results! The name Middle Dune comes from Sylvia’s childhood home on Cape Cod. Perched on a windy sand dune, the family says that their house was one dune away from the water and one dune away from the road, so it was on the “middle dune.” At Middle Dune, we also pride ourselves on plastic-free packaging and our give-back initiative - donating a percentage of our profits to local and national causes.
