Dear Botanicals
Bar Soap - French Clay
Bar Soap - French Clay
As seen in Boston Globe Magazine, Dear Botanicals' FRENCH CLAY bar soap is made with French green clay, one of the softest, yet most powerful cosmetic clays out there. Sometimes called a healing clay, it is a gentle natural cleanser and toner that feels lovely on your skin. This soap has a fresh and stimulating scent of bergamot and juniper berry essential oils.
Key Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, coconut milk,* camellia oil, castor oil, essential oil blend (bergamot, juniper berry), French green clay, spirulina. (*certified organic)
Size: 3.25” x 2.5” x 1”
For best results, use within six to 12 months. This soap is made with plant oils, botanicals, naturally occurring clays, and essential oils. I do not use cosmetic micas, preservatives, or synthetic fragrance. That means the colors and scents will fade over time, though the soap itself will be good to use indefinitely.
To extend the life of your soap, keep it dry between uses on a draining soap dish. Do not place in direct contact with water (except when bathing, of course!). Handmade soap does not contain commercial hardening agents, so this will really help to make your bar last longer.
Maker: Dear Botanicals (Winchester, MA)
Born and raised in Canada by Taiwanese immigrant parents, Emily created Dear Botanicals to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. From the oolong tea of her parents’ homeland to the scent of cedarwood from her childhood, she transforms the essence of plants and flowers into beautiful objects that we can use to elevate our daily routines. Made by hand and always with great care in Massachusetts, her soaps make a cleansing shower into a joyous ritual. They turn constant hand washing into moments of pleasure. Her products are 100% natural, small-batch, and an everyday luxury. Inspired by nature, slow living, and her cultural heritage, Dear Botanicals is a love letter to a world where all of these things collide.
