Maryssa always enjoyed taking pictures, but really delved into photography a few years ago, when she inherited her mother’s camera and used it as a new way to look at the world around her. While she took a couple of classes in black and white (film) photography years ago, she has discovered a love for bold color, beautiful landscapes, and Boston scenery. She lives in Dorchester and works to provide affordable housing to low-income families, and she loves traveling, exploring, trying new restaurants, and learning about local history.
