Aug 30 - Make Your Own Phone Holder

Join local artist Liliana Marquez for a hands-on workshop focused on transforming reclaimed architectural samples into beautiful, functional tabletop decor. 

Using salvaged materials rich with texture and history, participants will design and create their own phone stand(s).  If time allows, you can also make another piece of decor like a box or tray.

This relaxed, creative session invites you to explore color, shape, material, and texture. 

You’ll leave with 2-3 unique handmade objects and a deeper appreciation for reuse, design, and craftsmanship.

All materials will be provided. No need to bring anything except yourself!

All workshop participants will also receive 10% off any retail purchases made on the day of the class.

About your instructor:
Liliana is a Boston-based Venezuelan artist and designer whose work reimagines the potential of discarded architectural samples through her signature practice: REPOP ART. Rooted in the Bauhaus principle that form follows function, her creations blend geometry, structure, and vibrant color with soul and purpose. Each piece is a dialogue between artist and material—an intuitive process of listening, reclaiming, and transforming waste into sculptural and functional art.

Workshop tickets are non-refundable, because we purchase all supplies ahead of time based on headcount. If you cannot make it, consider sending a friend in your place! In the event that a workshop is canceled due to instructor illness, inclement weather, low enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will notify all participants via email as soon as possible and issue a full refund.
