We are currently hiring a Shop Associate to work at The Local Hand.

Please only apply for this role if you are available to work on Saturdays.

The Shop Associate will be responsible for:

• Interacting with customers and answering questions about products 
• Processing all sales transactions 
• Keeping all products and merchandise tidy throughout the shop
• Assisting with set-up/clean-up for workshops and events when necessary
• Opening and/or closing the shop

The right candidate will have:

• An interest in art, particularly the local arts scene in Boston
• Superb customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in retail or a willingness to learn on the job 

This is a part-time role, with approximately 5-10 hours per week, starting at $20/hour. There is opportunity for growth and additional hours if desired.
